    Family Law
Anthony is a Family Law Practitioner. He has always primarily undertaken family work, and since 2000 has concentrated solely on family law. Anthony has wide experience and expertise in the following areas:

    Care and Adoption
Anthony undertakes care and adoption proceedings at the highest levels. In recent years he has fairly regularly undertaken High Court cases lasting two to three weeks or even longer, where the majority of the other parties are represented by Leading Counsel (QCs). He has a particular interest in non-accidental injury cases.

    Ancillary Relief
This was the area that Anthony first concentrated on after joining Chambers in 1990. Over many years since then he has acquired extensive experience in the full range of ancillary relief disputes. He tries to encourage the lay client to take a commercial view of their litigation, but acknowledges some cases do just have to be fought out to a final hearing. Having the opportunity of advising the lay client in conference or on paper is something that Anthony feels is particularly important in gaining an overall understanding of the case and aiding in its resolution.

    Sch.1 Children Act 1989
applications for financial provision for a child or children.

Cohabitee disputes and Trusts of Land claims.
As well as undertaking Court work, Anthony will advise in writing or in conference. Since he lives further to the South West than other members of chambers, he is also more than happy to have conferences at solicitors offices if this assists the client.

Despite his considerable experience, Anthony hopes that he still dispenses down to earth practical advice in a friendly and helpful manner.
