    Public & Private Law Children
    Baljinder specialises in the law relating to children., She represents all parties in public law proceedings, including care, supervision, secure accommodation, special guardianship and adoption. She has extensive experience of residence, contact and specific issue order proceedings, including removal from the jurisdiction. She is regularly involved in cases concerning domestic violence, allegations of physical and sexual abuse, and neglect. In particular she is frequently instructed on cases with an international or cultural element.

    Ancillary Relief
    Baljinder's ancillary relied practice covers all areas of matrimonial finance ranging from ‘needs' cases to high net worth clients. She has a full understanding of the impact of insolvency and housing legislation, which can be crucial to determining the best outcome for her client. She is often involved in cases, which require an intervener. In compliment with her ancillary relief practice Baljinder undertakes property disputes between co-owners, cohabitants and family members, including TOLATA applications, occupation orders, transfers of tenancy and applications under sch.1 of the Children Act 1989.

    Landlord & Tenant, and Housing Law
    Baljinder frequently acts for local authorities, housing associations, private landlords and tenants Her practise involves both business and residential tenancies. She often appears in cases involving homelessness, possession, disrepair, illegal eviction and service charges. She has particular expertise in cases of housing involving alleged anti-social behaviour.

    Insolvency
    Baljinder appears in cases for creditors, debtors, and the trustee in bankruptcy. She is involved in cases ranging from challenging a statutory demand, through to the trustee seeking to set aside dispositions, which are alleged to have been made to defeat the interests of the creditor. Her knowledge of insolvency law is invaluable in her family law practise.

    Civil: Personal Injury/Property & Chancery
    Baljinder also undertakes general civil work, ranging from contractual disputes, negligence claims, personal injury, property disputes, sale and supply of goods and trusts law.

    Baljinder has a reputation for being feisty, and thorough in representing her client. She works hard to try and negotiate the best outcome for her client, but does not shy away from a battle in court if the case requires it.
