Our Crime and Regulatory Team is a widely experienced group of criminal practitioners. We undertake both prosecution and defence briefs in the Crown, Magistrates and appellate courts. We are happy to assist on all stages of the criminal process from the first appearance in the Magistrates Court through to the Crown Court and beyond.
Our members prosecute on behalf of the Crown Prosecution Service, HM Customs & Excise, Department of Trade & Industry as well as any Government department that uses the Attorney General's Unified List. We undertake work in the criminal element of areas such as insolvency and company law.
We offer expertise in defence cases from the simplest Magistrates Court driving matters to the most serious offences in the Crown Court. Our members appear in matters of robbery, sexual offences, GBH and fraud. We have experience of defending cases brought under legislation such as the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
A number of our members defend military personnel in all services in Courts Martial, both locally and overseas.
In addition to advocacy, we undertake all types of criminal paperwork, advisory work and conferences.
