Personal Injury Law

Members of the Personal Injury Group undertake all aspects of this area of work, including:
  • Road traffic accidents
  • Employer's liability
  • Occupier's liability
  • Highways Act claims
  • Clinical negligence
  • Industrial disease
  • Holiday claims
  • HM Coroner's Court
Members of Chambers offer a prompt and efficient service that covers the full range of personal injury cases, from minor whiplash claims to major industrial injuries and clinical negligence. Our most senior practitioners are regularly instructed in the most serious of cases. We provide clear and realistic advice with the aim of achieving the best possible outcome for the lay client. We accept instructions on a conditional fee basis subject to an assessment of merit. It is Chambers' policy to screen all potential CFA cases by a second member of Chambers so as to reduce the risk to any adverse costs insurer. This is a completely free additional service.

College Chambers understands the importance of Alternative Dispute Resolution in this area and has experienced mediators that practice Personal Injury law. Our members are highly experienced in the careful discussions which are essential to a successful alternative dispute resolution of these claims.

We accept instructions on behalf of both Claimants and Defendants. We are often involved in the decision making process, such as the choice of expert witness, gathering of evidence, surveillance recordings and the reserve to be put on a claim. Our members are experienced in the preparation of detailed schedules and counter-schedules of special damages.
