Cohabitation and Trusts

Our members often deal with cohabitation issues and disputes between families which involve the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 (TOLATA). In addition we regularly undertake cases involving trust disputes involving third parties and interveners. We are experienced in applying trust law in relation to property disputes.

Civil Partnership

Chambers accepts instructions for claims and advice under the Civil Partnership Act 2004.

Schedule 1 Children Act 1989

We are frequently instructed in applications concerning the financial provision for children under Schedule 1 of the Children Act 1989; in tandem with TOLATA claims, or stand alone applications.
