Head of Chambers' Statement
Commitment Integrity Excellence
College Chambers was founded in 1989 by Robin Belben and Roger Shawcross (now His Honour Judge Shawcross). Our reputation is based on our work as specialist advocates. The key areas of practice include civil, family, general common law and mediation, backed by a breadth of experience and expertise in all areas. College Chambers is committed to providing the reliable service which our clients expect and deserve.
We are committed to the Bar Council - Code of Practice and comply fully with the Practice Management Standards and Guidelines for the Bar. We also regard highly our Legal Services Commission 'Quality Mark' accreditation, for the management and organisation of College Chambers, including client care.
All members of College Chambers relish challenges and are dedicated to providing a quality service. Our preparation is meticulous, ensuring that we are equipped to consider every element of a case, while providing a high level of client care. We recognise that each case is special to our clients and trust that, as a result of our representation, our clients will feel that their case has been skilfully and sympathetically presented and that we have lived up to our three ideals of 'commitment', 'integrity' and 'excellence'. |
