Andrew has a substantial family practice, specialising in Children Act and matters in private and public law, including matrimonial finance and cohabitee disputes. In 2005, he successfully represented the eldest children in the matter of Mabon v Mabon, in the Court of Appeal - a case which reflects, in the 21st century, that there is a keener appreciation of the autonomy of the child's consequential rights to participate in the decision-making process which fundamentally affects his/her family life. In addition, Andrew specialises in general common law, including personal injury, landlord & tenant work and trusts of land. He was shortlisted for Legal Aid 'Young Barrister of the Year' 2006.
