Derek is a general civil law practitioner, with particular interest in contract disputes and tort-based claims. He has a substantial personal injury and insolvency practice and is often involved in ancillary relief cases, where there are large business assets. He will be pleased to accept work on a direct, professional-access basis, where permitted by the rules, and undertakes a considerable amount of conditional fee work.
Civil Dispute Mediator Regularly involved in mediation and arbitration, he has a reputation as a strong incisive advocate, supported by excellent negotiating skills. He is also a fully qualified mediator and would be pleased to conduct mediation in his fields of expertise.
