    Boundary and Building Disputes
Jason provides advice, drafting and representation in respect of all areas of boundary and building disputes. He is experienced in liaising with experts and enjoys a good site visit! He is available for representation in the Courts, Land Tribunals and at mediations. Jason is also experienced in dealing with the all too frequent ‘spill over effects' of neighbour disputes and is able to provide assistance with (emergency) injunctive relief to protect property and person from damage, injury and harassment.

    Commercial and Civil Litigation
Jason can be relied upon to provide practical advice in all fields of commercial and consumer practice. He is also available for representation at Court and in mediations. He finds this area of law fascinating but is fully aware of the realities of business and the need to maintain good commercial relationships whenever possible. He provides advocacy and advice in fields such as agency, contract, consumer credit and partnership as well as the sale of goods and supply of services. Jason appreciates that litigation does not just end with a Court judgment and is therefore also available for work relating to debt recovery and enforcement.

    Family: Private Children Act
Jason has extensive experiencing in representing parents and grandparents in disputes arising in respect of contact and residence. He regularly appears for parties involved with allegations of domestic violence. He represented the Appellant Mother before the Court of Appeal in Re R (A Child) [2009] EWCA Civ 1619 in which the Court of Appeal laid down important guidelines on submissions of no case to answer in fact finding hearings. Jason always strives to make himself approachable and to make his clients feel comfortable. He has undertaken a number of cases with complex foreign elements.

Family: Ancillary Relief, Financial Provision for Children and Inheritance Claims
Jason deals with all aspects of financial provision upon the break-up of relationships. He provides advice and representation in respect of ancillary relief matters. He is also involved with cases for the financial provision of children under the Children Act 1989 and applications made under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996. He undertakes work under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975. He has acted in CSA appeals and enforcement proceedings. He is comfortable with business accounts and happy to liaise with experts.

    Insolvency
Jason can provide advice and representation in respect of all aspects of commercial and individual insolvency. He enjoys navigating his way through the complex maze of legislation and ever evolving case law in order to deal with issues of bankruptcy, administration and liquidation.

    Landlord and Tenant
Jason provides advice and representation with respect to all aspects of commercial and non-commercial leases. He deals regularly with the application of the statutory provisions dealing with residential tenancies and protection from eviction. He is also familiar with the protection provided for business tenancies. He has also been involved in a number of complex disrepair cases. Jason is happy to provide advice and representation on issues such as homelessness, community care and challenging the decisions of public bodies. He will undertake legal aid work and is happy to prepare advices vis-a-vis the grant of such.

    Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence
Jason is involved in all aspects of personal injury practice. He can be relied upon to punctually produce written advice and drafting to a high standard. Jason aims to provide written opinions that are readily understandable by the client and so save instructing solicitors the sometimes arduous task of ‘translating' them. He is experienced in addressing medico-legal reports and comfortable dealing with experts. He is also fully aware of how injuries stemming from negligent medical treatment can undermine his clients' confidence in themselves and their faith in the system.
