College Chambers offers an all round advice and advocacy service in respect of cases involving wills, probate and the Inheritance (Provision for Family & Dependants) Act 1975. Members of Chambers pride themselves in being readily available to assist with any enquiries in this field, even by telephone and email. They will assist in the drafting of claims and applications, provide thorough written opinions and will assist in negotiations and mediation so as to bring successful and cost efficient conclusions to cases as soon as possible. There is no limitation as to the geographical area in which the members will attend court hearings.

Members will deal with the whole spectrum of cases ranging from contentious and non-contentious probate claims, applications to the court to deal with personal representatives and the administration of estates and applications under the 1975 Act for financial provision. Professional negligence cases can also be dealt with. Estates as well as beneficiaries or interest parties can be well advised and represented by barristers from College Chambers.

Members of Chambers also have experience in dealing with Court of Protection cases involving applications for declarations and orders in respect of vulnerable persons and disputes in relation to attorneys. The barristers have the experience of representing local authorities, family members and attorneys alike.

The barristers at College Chambers are well known to be approachable, friendly and compassionate especially when dealing with vulnerable and sensitive clients.
