Education

We have small team of dedicated barristers with expertise in this area. We accept instructions from parents, pupils, schools, NGOs including charities and Local Authorities in education law.  We act both on instructions from solicitors and on a direct access basis.

Our barristers regularly appear in appeals to the first-tier Special Education Needs and Disability (€œSEND€) Tribunal acting for Local Authorities, parents, and pupils.  We act in cases concerning Educational Health and Care Plans (€œEHCPs€) and disability discrimination claims arising in the education setting.

For assistance with employment and regulatory issues arising in the education setting, please refer to our Employment Team page.

Our dedicated Clerking Team will be able to assist you in identifying the most suitable barrister to meet your needs.
