Amanda practices exclusively in children law with a particular emphasis on public law. She regularly represents local authorities, parents and grandparents and will accept instructions from guardians.

Amanda has extensive experience of cases involving medical evidence, allegations of sexual and physical abuse, non-accidental injury, substance abuse and mental health issues. Amanda also undertakes private law disputes and has experience of cases where children are separately represented, where there are complex religious issues, applications to remove from the jurisdiction and where there are very young or vulnerable clients. Amanda has experience of both public and private law proceedings where there are concurrent criminal proceedings. She has a particular interest in cases involving immigration issues having previously practiced in this area of law.
Amanda is regulated by the Bar Standards Board, holds professional indemnity insurance with Bar Mutual and is VAT registered.
