David has experience of business and commercial law in a number of different contexts, particularly contractual.
David advises and represents a wide range of businesses on general contractual law matters including disputes concerning the sale of goods and services and Unfair Contract Terms Act. David also has experience of emergency injunction applications, residential tenancy contracts and compromise agreements.
David has experience in the field of personal and corporate insolvency representing and advising corporations, liquidators and individuals. He regularly addresses issues arising from statutory demands, winding up and actions of liquidators and trustees.
David advises and provides drafting in contentious and non-contentious commercial matters.
David also has a successful practice in personal injury law, including road traffic accidents, clinical negligence, claims relating to highways, employers' and occupiers' liability and health and safety.
David regularly acts in fast and multi-track trials, drafting pleadings, opinions and trial documents as required.
David represents parties at all stages of proceedings, from interim applications and case management conferences to trials, settlement and other final hearings.
David is always happy to travel to meet lay and professional clients for pre-court conferences, and will conference by telephone and Skype/video conference when more convenient.
David has experience with commercial landlord and tenant work including 1954 Act tenancies, dilapidations, vacant possession, forfeiture and relief from forfeiture.
David also has considerable experience with residential landlord and tenant work. He is regularly instructed on behalf of private landlords, mortgage companies and local authorities. He has particular experience of possession proceedings.
